With the benefits of mentoring come responsibilities. Mizzou ADVANCE expects mentors to:
- Receive training on mentoring
- Clarify expectations with your mentee
- Commit time and energy to the mentoring process
- Meet with your mentee at least once per month
- Attend two brown-bag lunches per year with your mentee
